The Golden Axe Projects

Many of you have noticed the change in ownership of Death Adder's Castle. Ben has chosen me to take control of the site. I'm making this thank-you thread not just to thank him for giving me control of the site, but also for putting that much faith in me to keep it The Internet's Premier Golden Axe Resource.

It was because of Ben's excitement at owning a Revenge of Death Adder arcade machine, his love for the Golden Axe series as a whole, and his dedication to keeping the Golden Axe name known, that pretty much every true Golden Axe fan knows the name "Death Adder's Castle."

And actually DAC was the site that inspired me to create the Golden Axe Projects- I saw that someone had created a successful Golden Axe website, so I was determined to do the same, with a message board.

So I'd really like everyone here to post a message in this thread to thank Ben for all the work he's put into DAC, which has helped to (I'm quoting him here) keep the Golden Axe dream alive. And yes, that's why I changed the board's slogan.

I'd like to thank you for all the hard work you have done maintaining Death=Adder's Castle. I have learnt many new things about the franchise at the site and have enjoyed reading your various articles on the series which were both fascinating and enjoyable to read. I also liked looking at some of the exclusive things people have sent to you (especially the BEAUTIFUL GA III Japanese instruction manuel). Also if it wasn't for your site, I would have never found Songbirds forum.

I wish you all the best for what you do in the future.

If it weren't for DAC, I would have never found this forum (and therefore never found something to do in my lunch breaks now the company has firewalled every other board I use). Thanks Ben, much respect.

Id like to thank Ben for DAC. If it wasnt for that site, I would have never of found out about the many GA games I never got to play. I also never would have known about this forum. It was the DAC that inspired me to rip the songs from the GA series to to be listened to everyone. Also to attempt to get the GA story on here for everyone to read. Sadly that didnt go through.

Hey, everybody, I'm not dead or anything, just really, really busy.

Thanks for the kind words all. Most of you are the folks who made the site what it is anyway. Back when I started the site it was only about 5 pages deep. It's been all the great contributions over the years that made it what it is.
